The Forest Row Festival OPEN Art Exhibition was created just for YOU!
We invited ALL aspiring or professional artists in the local community to submit ONE piece of art work, in any medium, to this exciting exhibition which will take place during the Forest Row Festival. There is no minimum or maximum age limit to enter and we encouraged a wide variety of ability and talent – amateur, semi-professional, uber professional or newbie. Even if it’s the first picture or sculpture ever made, or a beautiful photograph that deserves an audience, this show promises to be an eclectic and diverse example of the incredible talent we have on our doorstep.
As the festival falls on the weekend of International Peace Day (21st September), the theme of the festival is ‘Peace and Community’ and we invited artists to reflect this in their work if they felt inspired to do so.
The Exhibition will open on Friday evening, 19th September, with a Private View Party from 6-8pm
There is also a bar downstairs in the new organic brewery, so be sure to come and sample this delicious new local beer (and other drinks).
