Alex’s paintings are portals: layered, luminous works that speak to the unseen dimensions of feeling, memory, and soul. Her brushwork carries the language of emotion, a fusion of colour, energy, and meaning inspired by nature, spirituality, and the feminine psyche.

With over 80 exhibitions across the UK, Europe, and Asia, including the Venice Biennale, the Houses of Parliament, and the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, her art has reached diverse audiences and spaces, from hospitals to international festivals. It has been printed on fashion and design products, featured on book and magazine covers, and exhibited as part of pioneering initiatives blending art and science.

Alex’s creative vision often centres on the feminine as divine, exploring empowerment, embodiment, and the transformative power of love and creation. Her work invites viewers to enter a deeper dialogue with themselves and the world, finding beauty and meaning in the spaces between.

Author, Storyteller, Alchemist

Alex is the author of three acclaimed non fiction books, The Art of Birth, Irresistible Birth, and Womb to Thrive (contributing author), which have inspired thousands of women to reconnect with their innate body wisdom and creative power.

Her writings have been published in The Lancet, Health Expectations, Juno Magazine, The Mother Magazine, and international anthologies, exploring how art and awareness can transform both personal and societal healing.

Her latest work or fiction, Mad Enough to Love You: Desire (2025), marks a bold new chapter, a literary, sensual exploration of longing, love, and awakening set in Bali. It extends Alex’s lifelong inquiry into creativity and consciousness, this time through the intimate terrain of erotic and emotional truth.

The book will be launched at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival 2025.

Visionary Leadership and Social Change

In 2016, Alex founded Zero2 Expo and launched the acclaimed Birthing a Better Future Art and Science Exhibition at the UK Houses of Parliament.
This groundbreaking project, later shown at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, The Fitzrovia Chapel, and internationally, raises awareness about child health and the first 1001 critical days from conception to age two.

Her abstract evaluation of the exhibition was published in The Lancet, highlighting how art can influence understanding, empathy, and policy.

Alex continues to serve on advisory boards and collaborate with leading researchers, including Prof. Monica Lakhanpaul (UCL, London), uniting art, science, and humanity in service of positive change.

Healing Through Creativity

Trained as an Art Psychotherapist, Alex has worked in both clinical and community settings, including a major Neurorehabilitation hospital in Kent, where she also served as a change management consultant.

Her workshops and therapy sessions combine art, embodiment, and spiritual awareness, guiding individuals toward self expression, emotional integration, and empowerment.

Whether through a painting, a poem, or a conversation, Alex’s work carries one clear intention:
to reconnect people with their creative essence and remind them of their capacity to love, transform, and begin again.
