Bali – A Spiritual Island

Full Description

Our “Eat-Play-Laugh” Retreats are well designed for you to try out creative techniques and familiarise yourself with expressive art, play and dance movement, through gentle exercises in a safe, non judgemental space.

Whether you are going through a transitional phase in your life, maybe you want to rediscover your purpose and passion, or you just want to take some time out for deep self-nurturing, then this retreat is for you.

Women are good at nurturing others but not always ourselves and don’t tend to believe our dreams can come true. Pleasure is last on our list. Once children have left home, or a career has become stagnant, it can leave one exhausted and in need of a deeper recharge. Our creative retreats re-inspire you to find new ways to nurture yourself, melt away the stress and tune into your deep desires.

Our carefully created holistic workshops will take you on a gentle emotional detox while nourishing you with signature gourmet cuisine. Our lovingly prepared nutritional food from one of Balis’ best kitchens will tantalise your taste buds and invite you to discover the joy and sensuality of food!

This creative retreat program will provide you with a nurturing shoulder of support. You will practice and learn easy techniques that will radically change how you feel about yourself so you can shine your light brightly in the world.

After the traditional Balinese water blessing ceremony and the transformative power of Easter time, you will discover new perspectives, feel more balanced with a depth of clarity and emerge feeling brand new.

During the retreat, you will receive support to give you the best opportunity to restore, heal and transform yourself.

All classes, activities, and meals are optional. If you feel that it is important for you to honour your body and allow yourself time to rest then do so.

You will fly into Bali’s major airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, also known as Denpasar International Airport (DPS).

We will arrange your transfers between the airport and the hotel. Full travel details will be given when you sign up. We are here to help.

When you arrive on the islands of the Gods, our driver will pick you up and 1.5 hours later you will arrive in the bustling, vibrant town of Ubud.

Check–in is 2pm, check–out is 12noon.

On arrival at the hotel, we will personally welcome you and help you get settled in with a welcome drink. You will enjoy a delicious light lunch from our chef. After you’ve settled into your room, you are free to rest or you may receive an amazing complementary massage to allow yourself to wind down and relax from your travels.

We will then meet at 7pm for a welcome dinner. You will be given a brief introduction, where to meet in the morning, some lovely surprises about the week and a small goody bag to make your retreat even more memorable and pleasant and answer any questions. Have a blissful sleep.

The other 6 days the schedule varies daily and we plan to make sure you have some free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings or just simply relax and read a book in our lounge area with a delicious fresh juice, or have a swim in the divine pool.

Once again, all classes, activities, and meals are optional. It is important to honour how you feel and rest accordingly.

We trust you will enjoy your time with us in Bali <3

Gourmet Food

The gourmet food is varied, both traditional Balinese and fusion cuisine, lovingly prepared in the hotel and famous Casa Luna and Indus restaurants. Our celebration dinner will be at a wonderful off-site casual fine dining restaurant. Prepare for your mouth to be watered!
We cater for all dietary requirements:

Important Information

Getting there

Nearest major airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, also known as Denpasar International Airport (DPS)

It takes around 1.5 hours to get to Ubud from the airport.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is always a good idea! Depending on the policy you go for, it could help with delayed, canceled or missed flights; theft or damage of belongings, and emergency healthcare.

It’s not the most glamorous part of planning a trip, but it means you can relax knowing that you’ll be covered if anything happens.

If you intend to stay in Bali for 30 days or less, residents of 169 countries (including the U.S. UK and Australia may now enter on a free 30 day visa on arrival (VOA).

If you plan on staying in Bali for 31 to 60 days, DO NOT opt for the free 30 day VOA, as it cannot be extended. Instead, purchase the $35 USD Visa on Arrival at the immigration counter at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport, which can be extended for a stay not to exceed 60 days.

The 60 day VOA is not equal to 2 months. The day you arrive counts as day 1, so avoid any trouble by counting your days correctly! The fee for overstaying your Visa is a steep 300,000 IDR per day.

Check–in is 2pm, check–out is 12noon

The 40 spacious rooms are spread over two traditional compounds set in lush gardens, overlooking lily ponds and stone statues. The rooms feature four-poster beds, mosquito-nets, wooden shutters, carved doors, marbled floors and Javanese teak sofas.

Breakfast includes fresh tropical fruit, house-made yoghurt and granola, warm freshly baked pastries and bread from The Honeymoon Bakery, as well as, Balinese specialties and other modern fare.

Mosquito nets and repellant coils, daily housekeeping, bar fridge replenished daily, tea, coffee and two flasks of boiling water, water dispenser and front patio with table and chairs are provided for your comfort.

Vaccinations requirements

Bali is much more developed than most regions in Indonesia and the main tourism areas match international standards when it comes to hygiene.

If you plan to travel to other areas in Indonesia or venture out for a longer period into the more remote areas of Bali, then a more careful approach is recommended.

Because vaccines need to be taken before arriving at your holiday destination you need to plan your vaccine strategy 4-8 weeks before scheduled departure.

As soon as you arrive and step on the island of the gods/goddesses, you know this land has its own soul. It’s more than a place; it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind where fresh ideas arrive like waves and inspiration is everywhere.

It’s rich culture, abundant nature, many amazing sights and truly lovely people are what makes Bali so special.

The diverse culture and Hindu religion of Bali play a vital role in the everyday life of both locals and visitors. From the exquisite flower offerings placed everywhere to the endless temple ceremonies. Everything has spiritual meaning on the island.

Bali is a magnet for creative people from all over the world, the best handcrafts, designs, clothes, furniture, and interior pieces can be found throughout the whole island.

Being one of those glorious destinations it is generally great to visit at any time of the year, you will enjoy this vibrant island despite any weather.

What makes this retreat special

The island of Bali is a perfect place to transition from your old self to your new self. Together you will immerse yourself into the power of the jungle, discover ancient, mysterious water purification ceremonies, and activate health within the body.

You will feel renewed, pure at the level of the soul and much more spiritually connected.
